Louis Poulsen PH Wall copper IP23
By Poul Henningsen
Poul Henningsen developed the three-shade system in 1925–1926 together with Louis Poulsen, a collaboration that lasted until 1967. His goal was glare-free light, soft shadows and precise light control. The system is based on the logarithmic spiral, ensuring even light distribution. PH Wall belongs to this three-shade family and was introduced in 1966 as part of a versatile lighting system used for pendants, wall, floor and table lamps.
