Spectrum SE 06 DINING CHAIR
By Martin Visser
MARTIN VISSER | 1960 The SE 06 dining chair was designed by Martin Visser in 1960. The pure material, the clear construction and minimalist design language are typical of Visser’s work. The chair has a slim tubular steel frame, chrome matt brushed or black epoxy coated, and a saddle leather upholstery. The SE dining chair is also available in a fabric version, the SE 07, and a version with a rattan seat, the SE 05 chair.
Strong harness leather requires processing craftsmanship and has the natural property of stretching through use. This is why the cover on the underside of the seat is equipped with a leather lace with which the seat can be tightened. A beautiful functional detail that makes this timeless dining chair so special. The SE 06 is available in three leather colours: natural, dark brown and black. Rigid leather is a natural product and discolours through use and under the influence of light. The latter is especially applicable to natural harness leather and creates a characteristic and lively image.
